Corporate governance

Efficiency is key when it comes to company secretarial work. It is critical for business owners to ensure that the Companies Act is adhered to, as non-compliance can lead to management being held liable for any losses. From our experience, most business owners lack an in-depth knowledge of specific company secretarial requirements that the Companies Act imposes, not to mention the processes and procedures relating to matters concerning the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC).

Our corporate governance department has, over the years, established internal systems for the efficient execution of a wide range of secretarial services with follow up procedures to ensure that all tasks reach the completion stage within reasonable timeframes.

The services we offer include, but are certainly not limited to, the setup of companies (either the new creation of companies / shelf companies); the restructuring of company affairs (director changes, shareholder changes, etc.); general administrative tasks (company name changes, year-end changes, FICA confirmations, etc.); and the submission of company annual returns to the CIPC.
